CURRENT OPEN POSITIONS:
SoMa Shop Manager
-$17-$20/hourly , plus average $5 tips/hour with PTO (negotiable after 120 days)
-Full time (35-40hrs), nights and weekends and full availability
The SoMa Shop Manager is the general manager of the Scoop Shop, and is responsible for all day-to-day operations (training, inventory, scheduling, bank runs, communicating to the shop team the expectations and updates, and keeping the shop clean) and enforcing shop policies and standards. They play a key leadership role, leading a team of 10-15 with a constant focus on providing quality ice cream, shop cleanliness and customer service. This person can work in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure. The ideal manager is self-motivated, team-focused, has exceptional judgement and brings a positive, upbeat energy to everything they do. Management and customer service experience is preferred. Ability to stand, lift, bend and walk for extended periods, scoop ice cream over a full shift, lift up to 40lbs.
SoMa Shop Shift Lead
-$14-$15/hourly, plus average $5 tips/hour with PTO
-Full time (30-35 hrs), nights and weekends and full availability
The SoMa Shop Shift Lead is responsible to leading their shift and acting as a role model for other Scoopers. They are responsible for helping to train the team, maintain shop standards, and communicate shift notes to the Shop Manager. They can direct shift team and keep team on task, calm and supported, especially during busy shifts. They are cross-trained on register, opening and closing the Shop, and inventory. Need to be team-oriented, enjoy customer service, keep the shop clean and organized, and able to delegate tasks. Ability to stand, lift, bend and walk for extended periods, scoop ice cream over a full shift, lift up to 40lbs.
SoMa Shop Full Time Scooper
$11-$12/hourly, plus average $5 tips/hour with PTO
-Full time (30-35 hrs), nights and weekends and full availability
The SoMa Shop Scooper is responsibile for providing friendly customer service, consistent-looking scoops, and keeping the shop clean and organized. Able to work with a team. Need to be able to keep calm and scoop on when it gets loud and busy. Ability to stand, lift, bend and walk for extended periods, scoop ice cream over a full shift, lift up to 40lbs.
